The T&Cs establish the legal framework that governs the actions of site visitors or your customers during their visit to or interaction with the website. The purpose of the T&Cs is to create a legal relationship between site visitors and you as the owner of the website.
What to include in your Terms and Conditions document
Typically, the Terms and Conditions address issues such as: who is entitled to use the website; the possible payment methods; a statement that the website owner may change its offerings in the future; the types of guarantees provided by the website owner to its customers; reference to intellectual property or copyright issues, where appropriate; the website owner's right to suspend or terminate a user's account; and many others.
